This is my favorite Dramatics location. I have been going here for 4 years. Lyric is the best receptionist that I have comes across in a hair salon in the city. Very professional, straight forward and understands modern clientele. Sky and Grey are my first choices for hair artists at this location. They understand mens hair and listen. You will not end up with a flat hairstyle with no texture. I don't feel like I am rushed out and they take their time to do proper fading and cutting angles. The cut grows out much nicer that way. Well worth the extra cost compared to a barber shop. One improvement--- the interior of the salon could use a more high profile look. I watch other stylists work while I get haircuts and the interior does not match the talent here.

Dramatics NYC is a quirky take on a typical chain hair salon. The stylists each have pseudonyms and the prices are NYC reasonable. Like any salon of this time, results are hit or miss depending on your stylist. Try them out, find one you really like, then stick with them.
I usually go to this location because it's super super close to my office. After a few not great cuts from other stylists here (not everyone can do pixie hair) I found Freedom, one of the stylists and she was PERFECT. She unfortunately has moved on so back to the drawing board.

This has become my defacto barbershop. Much better than the cheaper cuts along 14th St, but I've had some poor cuts here in the past. It's no guarantee.
It's got a lot of the style and glamour as some of the more upscale locations, but at a far more reasonable price.
